The Eagle Blog 2.0

Standards

This site may be a blog, but it’s still run by journalists dammit! While blogging is still a new and changing medium, here we believe there are some basic guidelines to help us navigate these dangerous virtual seas.

  • When reporting, objectivity should be the goal, without stated opinion. However, given the instantaneous and informal nature of blogging, the blogger does reserve the right to editorialize when comments are appropriate and labeled as such. Any opinions voiced on this web site are those of the blogger, not the website.
  • All pictures will be credited. If they aren’t credited, they’re pictures we’ve taken or  forgot to credit the Flickr user, and will feel really bad about it for a long time. In general, The Eagle Blog uses pictures taken by members of  its staff or those licensed with a Creative Commons license.
